Color.isSame(color, other, threshold?, method?)

Returns true when the deltaE difference of two colours is at most threshold (default 10, 0-510). method selects the deltaE formula: 0 CIE76 (default), 1 CIE94, 2 CIE2000, 3 RGBA.

How To Call It

This is a function of the Color factory table itself: call it with a dot (Color.<method>(...)); no Color object is needed. An object method with the same name also exists: color:isSame(...).

When To Use It

In detection flow, refresh the screen with Snap.screenRefresh() first, then narrow the search area and confidence using Region and FindParam.

Parameters and Return

Required: color, other. Optional: threshold, method (omit to pass nil and use the runtime default). Returns a boolean (true or false).

Best Combined With

It is typically combined with Snap, Region, Asset, and FindParam; you can feed the result into quickTap(), click(), or a follow-up OCR step.
